Potatoes. Use any floury potato for French fries. Russet Potatoes, Yukon Golds, etc. are all good options. Oil. Use extra-virgin olive oil or avocado oil or any other vegetable oil of your choice. Seasoning: I usually only season with salt but other spices like garlic powder, onion powder, paprika and black pepper are all good options.

Can I make this ahead?

The crispy exterior of the fries will soften once stored in the fridge so I recommend making and serving these right before serving. However, leftovers can be kept in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days and reheated in the air fryer.
