Updated March 26, 2019 The brown bananas on the counter got me again. They always sneak up on me! I made a loaf of Buttermilk Banana Bread, but still had three bananas on the counter staring me down. They were begging to be used. I decided to make a Banana Nutella Swirl Cake with Nutella Frosting. Bananas and Nutella are a match made in heaven and this cake certainly is heavenly!
The banana cake is as easy as they come. You probably have all of the ingredients on hand. The bananas and Greek yogurt make the cake super duper moist. I swirled Nutella into the cake. Oh, yes I did! Best decision ever! And I didn’t stop there, when the cake was cooled I topped it with a creamy Nutella frosting. I also added sprinkles because they are just fun! I think we all need more sprinkles in our lives. If you are a banana and Nutella fan-I really hope you are, make this Banana Nutella Swirl Cake with Nutella Frosting. I am sure it will become a favorite cake recipe. It is easy and is great for birthdays, potlucks, or every day dessert. Yes, we need dessert every day!
