I prefer using sliced garlic so that I can remove the slices easily and they don’t burn while the steak is grilling. You can also use garlic powder. Steak. I used sirloin but this recipe will work on any cut of steak.

How to make steak marinade

It couldn’t be simpler. Combine all the ingredients in a measuring jug or bowl and mix well. Place the steaks in a Ziploc bag and pour over the marinade. Squeeze out all of the air and seal the bag then massage the marinade into the steak, making sure all the steaks are well coated. Place on a plate and allow to marinade for 30 minutes at room temperature or overnight in the fridge. If marinating in the fridge, allow the steak to come to room temperature for at least an hour before cooking.
