Cocktail sausages. Mini smokies, cut up hot dogs or mini frankfurters will all work. Puff pastry. I prefer using all-butter store bought puff pastry. Remember to thaw the pastry overnight in the fridge before using. Dijon mustard (optional). Egg. Everything Bagel seasoning.

Can I use crescent roll dough instead?
You can use pretty much any pastry or dough for pigs in a blanket, although puff pastry is my favorite because it is so easily found across the globe. Crescent roll dough can be used but might need to be trimmed into suitable sized slices to roll around the sausages.
