This is a great DIY dinner idea for halloween party since everyone can assemble their own pizzas and design their own Jack-o-lantern faces. It’s also a cute idea for lunchboxes if you do mini versions, like I’ve done. Use store-bought pizza bases and get decorating!
Ingredients and Substitutions
Store-bought pizza crust. Feel free to make your own pizza dough with flour, yeast, warm water and olive oil but I prefer using store-bought crust. Pizza sauce. Mozzarella cheese. Use any good melting cheese of your choice, cheddar cheese is also a good option. Salami. You could use pepperoni too but I find salami easier to cut into shapes. Other toppings: Use black olives for eyes or slices of green bell pepper for the mouth if you want to play around with creating funny faces.
