Ingredients needed

I used a super simple burger patty recipe but feel free to use any burger of your choice, the star of the show is undoubtedly the bacon-wrapped jalapeño poppers. Feel free to add any of your favorite burger toppings but I kept it simple with shredded lettuce, mayo and cheese. For the jalapeño poppers

Fresh jalapeños.  Cheese: I used a combination of mozzarella and sharp cheddar/mature cheddar cheese. Substitute with any good melting cheese of your choice. You could mix cream cheese in with the grated cheese too if you preferred. Bacon.

For the burgers

Ground beef/beef mince.  Breadcrumbs. I used panko breadcrumbs but dried or fresh breadcrumbs can also be used. Egg. Seasoning: Smoked paprika, garlic powder, oregano, chilli flakes/red pepper flakes, salt and pepper. Burger buns.  Cheese.  Lettuce.  Mayonnaise.

Can I make this ahead?

The poppers can be assembled up to a day in advance and kept in an airtight container in the fridge before baking right before assembling the burgers. The patties can be made the day ahead too or frozen for up to 3 months. Thaw completely before cooking and serving.
