Pecan nuts. I used pecan halves but this recipe can be made with any nuts and I also like using a mixture of almonds, cashews, macadamias and pecans. Bacon. I used streaky bacon. Fresh rosemary. Sage and thyme are delicious too. Chilli flakes / red pepper flakes. Maple syrup. Honey can be substituted. Olive oil.

Yes, these nuts can be made up to 2-3 days in advanced and kept at room temperature in an airtight container.
