Mirin. Rice vinegar. Lime juice can be substituted. Miso paste.  Brown sugar.  Soy sauce.  Salmon. Sesame oil. Spring onions / Scallions. Garlic. Noodles. Use any noodles you like. Ramen, stir-fry, udon, etc. will all work with this recipe. Sesame seeds.  Coriander/cilantro. Fresh chillies.

I love serving the caramelized salmon with noodles but steamed rice or greens are a great idea too.

Can I make this ahead?

This is recipe is great for making ahead. The salmon can be marinated for 24 hours and cooked salmon can be kept covered in the fridge for up to 3 days.
