Ingredients needed

For the pizza dough I used homemade dough for this pan pizza recipe but you can easily use store-bought dough instead.

Flour. I used 00-flour but bread flour will also work. Water. Lukewarm water allows the yeast to get working faster. Instant yeast.  Salt.  Olive oil.

For the toppings

Pizza sauce.  Pepperoni. Salami or sliced Spanish chorizo will be delicious too. Mozzarella cheese. I used both low-moisture mozzarella and fresh mozzarella (buffalo mozzarella/fior di latte. Fresh basil.

Can I make this ahead?

The dough can be made up to 18 hours in advance and kept covered in the fridge. It can also be frozen for up to 3 months. Similarly, the pizza sauce can be made and refrigerate for up to 2 weeks or frozen for up to 4 months. Any leftovers can be kept in an airtight container in the fridge and reheated in a hot pan.
