Ingredients needed
Chicken. I used bone-in, skin on chicken thighs but you can use any chicken pieces. Skin on chicken is best for this recipe as it protects the chicken from drying out and crisps up perfectly while roasting. Butter/olive oil. Fresh garlic cloves. Fresh herbs. You need a few tablespoons of fresh herbs for this recipe. Use any herbs you have or like. Thyme, rosemary, parsley, sage and oregano all work well with chicken. White wine. I used Sauvignon Blanc but any dry white wine will be delicious. Fresh lemon juice. Salt and black pepper.

Serve these chicken thighs with rice or mashed potatoes to soak up that delicious sauce. A simple vegetable side dish like sautéed broccolini or green beans and a zesty side salad will also be delicious.
